About Me - your traveling Notary Public

Why did I choose a lighthouse as the picture for my About Me page?  I love lighthouses, I have pictures throughout my home of lighthouses.  I love visiting lighthouses and learning their history.  A lighthouse is a beacon of safety. Metaphorically speaking the image of a lighthouse can be used as a symbol for advancing the human quest for meaning. Lighthouses symbolize strength, safety, individuality, and mystery.  

I have been a  New Jersey commissioned Notary Public for over 14 years, but prior to that I worked for Universal Pictures for 25 years; yes the motion picture movie studio that released blockbuster hits like the Jurassic Park movies, Fast and Furious franchise movies, Despicable Me, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Mammia Mia, King Kong, Jaws, Back to the Future to name a few.  I handled the New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Cleveland and Detroit territories; I was responsible for the distribution of our 1st run movies to the theatres in those territories.  I was also in charge of setting up the movie screenings in those markets before the movies opened and in the summer time, I was in charge of the summer kids movies at Regal Cinemas in those territories.  I got to attend movie premieres, screenings, and luncheons with the actors and top brass at Universal Studios.  

Fun Facts: Martin Scorsese, the film director always took the service elevator when he came into the office.  Don't get stuck in an elevator with Spike Lee, he loves to have in-depth, thought provoking conversations.  Tom Selleck loves to give autographs, even if you don't want one.  Marc Anthony, the singer is very friendly and will stop and talk to everyone no matter where you run into him. While working at Universal Pictures, is when I decided to become a Notary Public.
